Side dishes, what would we do without them, a necessary inclusion for any good dinner plate. A very quick and easy side but generally used in Italian soups and dishes, risoni isn’t used often enough in everyday meals. Just add ingredients that compliment the main component of your dish, say if you have some pork add Parmesan with pear or apple, if you are serving chicken add corn and capsicum or fish you could add some soy, coriander and lemon, it’s so versatile and just carries flavor. The list is endless of what goes well with a good piece of beef but I would have to say mushrooms are up near the top with butter and garlic, this is my choice for today, garlic mushroom risoni!
